On 12 March 2022, in Aungpan town, Kalaw township (Taunggyi district, Shan State), a bomb explosion occurred at the Electrical Power Corporation (EPC) office of Aungpan town at around 3:40 pm. Casualties unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the explosion.
