On 12 March 2022, in Monywa town (Monywa district, Sagaing region), the People's Defense Force - Yinmarbin fired a rocket-propelled grenade against the Myanmar's military Northwestern Command station in Monywa. Fire from the explosion of the grenade burned weapon and ammunition storage of the military forces. Casualties unknown.
