On 14 March 2022, Houthi forces launched 1 ballistic missile on a pro-Hadi camp in Safir in the east of Marib (Marib, Marib) killing and injuring more than 60 pro-Hadi and Islah fighters. One source reported that the missile struck was a market with civilian fatalities.
