On 14 March 2022, in Chanmyathazi township (Mandalay district, Mandalay region), two unknown men on a motorbike threw an improvised grenade at Theikpan street vehicle check point at the corner of 101st and 62nd streets at around 11 am. Four including a traffic police corporal and a sergeant from fire department were injured. The Mandalay Black King Scorpion, Guerilla Force of Mandalay and the Mandalay Ranger Force claimed responsibility.
