On 21 May, Military Forces of Sudan and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) stationed in the area of Kara in East Jabal Marrah bombed the areas of Gorolang Banje, Sara and Sabun El Fagur in Jabal Marrah according to the Abdul Wahid al-Nur Faction of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army. The Ministry of Defense aknowledged the outbreak of fighting in Jabal Marrah against sleeper cells of the Wahid al-Nur Faction the day before but did not mention any specific event. The bombardement led to the flight of civilians. Two known injuries for all the three places.
